The Taylor Swift Eras Tour

April ??, 2023

The quality of the pictures were a bit blurry because I was having trouble keeping myself from dancing along to her music enough to take high quality pictures and videos. However, it was amazing; completely worth the hassle of obtaining the tickets (and the arm and leg) it cost to attend. The intro visuals accompanying the medley of her songs were out of this world. I attended with my loved ones, who some of which really wanted to hear "Cruel Summer" live, and were immediately granted that wish right off the bat. I am so grateful that we had to opportunity to see her and enjoy her music together with the rest of the community. I am grateful for my chosen family that accompanied me that night. They endured months and years of me brainwashing them into loving her music. They are the ones who made the night truly one of a kind. My loved ones and I all got home with friendship bracelets and unforgettable memories from that night. My favorite bracelets made from the community were rainbow colored with "Y.N.T.C.D." lettering and another one with pastel rainbow colors and "ERAS" lettering. I rarely know every lyric and song of the artists I go to concerts of, however, I could not stop myself from singing non-stop throughout Taylor's performance. The dancers with Taylor really shined and held their own, they were amazing and conveyed the emotions heavily. The whole show was absolutely magical!

I remember the first time I listened to Taylor's music was on a Kidz Bop CD on a small blue children's boombox. I heard Teardrops on my Guitar and fell in love with her music from the first album. Flashforward about four years later, and I remember asking my mother to buy the Speak Now album during a Sam's Club groceries run. I had upgraded the boombox technology, but the love for her music stayed the same. I remember when Reputation had to be initially bought on CD only and could not be streamed. The albums of Lover, Folklore, and Evermore were amazing and just kept feeding my obsession with her ever-changing music. Fearless, Red, and 1989 will always have a special place in my heart as well. The latest album: Midnights (2023), though, still showcases her lyricism to this day even among the re-recording of her classic albums.Â
